Tardy Marc, 29 y.o
Is a congolese photographer based in Brussels, Belgium.
His work takes essence in his sensory apprehension of the world, with an accent on polarising movement and statism, and texture and fluid.
What matters to me is to translate the utopian relationship that I have of the world. I have always thought that the eyes have more to tell than words. I find comfort in freezing my perspective. I schematise these thoughts in my work through movement, temporality, and throughout scenes that are seen without being observed. Where things are being left unsaid. Colors like time gauge, brightness as a state of consciousness, and texture as the intensity of the point of view: my way of establishing a link with whom will lay eyes on my work. In my generation there’s always a moment were we say “Do you see what I’m saying ?”, this moment of my time makes its loud echoes in my mind.
